I have travelled extensively in the U.S. independently, but I will concentrate on trips that I have taken with my children since 1999 for VT.
WARNING !!! My wife says I remember vacations with rose colored glasses. Maybe so but isn't that what travel is supposed to do to you?

I quite agree. Kids learn so much from travel. Sometimes you don't know how much they've learned til years later.
