This was my first stop outside of Bucharest. For the most part it is a less touristed place than Basov with a collegic feel to it. I happened to be there when they were renovating it or Disnefing it to attract more tourists. With any luck they will succed in attracting Western Europeans and all their Euros. All the construction work going on made it hard to get a feel for the city in the brief time I was there but give it another year or so and this place should get some character back in it.
