Today I did my first bike trip for the year to Immenstadt. It is located half way down south to Oberstdorf, which are approximately 20 kilometers by car. I took the bike-path along the river Iller, which flows all the the way north from Oberstdorf to Ulm passing Immenstadt and Kempten. This way it is a bit more. After a little training (this is neccessary for me after winter...) this route is perfect to enjoy the Allgäu. I have included a travelogue which should give you some impression on how it looks like here between Kempten and Immenstadt. Another travelogue shows you downtown Immenstadt. My biketrip today also brought me to the Alpsee a kilometer west of Immenstadt, which is a nice place when the weather is fine. Also from there you can find a travelogue.
