"The Four Corners" Teec Nos Pos by gubbi1

Teec Nos Pos Travel Guide: 10 reviews and 34 photos

Well, it is not directly Teec Nos Pos, but this is the closes place I found to the Four Corners Monument. Before I started my trip I found out that this is a special place in the United States as it is the only place where the border of 4 states touch themselves. So I put it on my schedule for the trip southwards into Arizona. Arriving there I was surprised cause of two things. First, it is in nowwhere... or should I say, in the desert. Second, visitors have to pay to access the point, as it is on natives land (is this the 'political' correct wording?). Anyway, it was an interesting experience to place my foot on the point and at that moment standing on four states the same time. And this point is good to see even on a political world map...

See the travelogue for the four corners...
