If you get asked about going on Bus trips
beware you may well be picking up other tourists from other resorts,so expect to be travelling a while before getting to your destination,then expect to be rushed about before getting back on the coach.we took a trip to the Monchique mountains and were disappointed.

At Least Do This: If you are going to go to visit other places , hire a car , my experience was that the roads in the Algarve were very good compared to the U.K. and the amount of traffic on the motorways was minimal.
We went back to the Monchique mountains in our hire car and had a great time ,even stopping off and filling our water bottles from the springs on the way.
Its just getting used to driving on the right and if you take it slowly you will get used to it .
