You will encounter these oyster rafts at most of the sea shores of Mie-ken, home of cultivated pearls. A pamphlet called Medicinal Properties of Pearls quotes Kokichi Mikimoto, founder of Mikimoto Pearl Museum: "The best cure for most of female diseases would be a string of pearls put on her neck."

All the Seafood is Fresh and Tasty

We were the only guests in our company accomodation so the chef had time enough to catch a fresh sashimi for us.
