Yucca Valley Travel Guide: 8 reviews and 7 photos
For all of you who don't know, Yucca Valley is one of the communities surrounding Joshua Tree National Park in the California hi-desert. This year (2005) looks to have provided just the right combination of temperature and rainfall (not to mention snow), for a rare, stunning spring, bursting with wildflowers!
Right now, I'm just getting started with these pages, so e-mail me if you want information on visiting. We're only about three hours from LA or San Diego - or Las Vegas, for that matter, so don't be shy.
- Pros:Next door to Joshua Tree National Park, close to mountains, beaches, and Mexico.
- Cons:We're being "discovered" by LA, with all the difficulties that go along with development.
- In a nutshell:Sunny skies, dark, starry nights, not too hot, and stunning vistas - I love it here!
