This is a very neat Square. Definately go into St. Mark's Cathedarl (back ground), which is magnificently decorated from way back in the day. Vendors sell seed that you can use to attract the millions of pigeons that congregate on the square. At night, restaurants set up tables and have orchestra/bands play music while you sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Taking a Gondola Ride is a must-do if you're in venice. While a bit on the expensive side, see if you can split the cost with another group, or ask to go with another family or group of travellers.

Take a boat ride to the neighboring islands of Morano and Burano, famous for their glass blowing and lace fabrics made on each of the islands. You can go on a tour of the glass-making factories usually for free, as they hope you'll buy some of their products afterwards.
