Nightlife Spot: Gay scene
We stumbled wanting to find a toilet on outskirts of red light district & found this bar to be really friendly. Had to snap shot the "ladiee" at the bar somone should have told her its not lady like to grab a ladies boobs & say how jealous they are!! haha

Dress Code: Anything goes CLEARLY *Update 2007* Looks like the bar has changed name, changed hands & more then likely clientelle as it seems to advertise English sport. Perhaps head towards Zeedijk street for another gay friendly bar

These nightlife tips are courtesy of Han, this gay bar has been recently refurbished and it is a slightly older crowd. Straight or gay alike will be welcome for a drink here. They arrange live entertainment on some nights

Nightlife Spot: Boom Chicago
Han & I are always on the look out for different things to do in Amsterdam, and as we both enjoy comedy we thought we'd try Boom Chicago comedy club as it is in English. To be honest I can't say that I found it very amusing although parts of the show were alright. It is quite American in feel and most of the acts that evening were bourne out of improvisation using the audience ideas. I felt the tickets were rather pricey between Euro 19.50 & Euro 23.50, drinks were served at your table throughout the show.
