The ferry in Istanbul is convenient, practical end enjoyable. Therefore taking a ferry is part of any Istanbul trip without any doubt. It is part of the public transport system, and therefore it costs only 1.30 liras to make an impressive Bosporus trip to the Asian side. Also a recommended way of transport when visiting Fener, Balat or Eyup.

Metro from the airport

For only 1.30 lires you can take the metro from the Ataturk Airport (station Haavalani) to Aksaray station, which is the end of the line. In the near future, the line will continue to Beyoglu.
Aksaray station is a busy point, it's an interesting lively area.
For SultanAhmet, take a tram from here which will bring you in a few minutes to the heart of the touristic area.
