Hello, thank you for visiting my homepage. I'm Doreen and I live in Mtarfa, Malta. I've been living here since I got married ten years ago. Mtarfa is a small quiet village near Rabat and it used to be a home for the soldiers in the last war. From Mtarfa you can see Mdina from one side and from another side you can see the Chadwick Lakes. Here, in this photo I am with my kids at the Chadwick Lakes. We sometimes go there for a walk.

I love travelling, and I'm glad my sister told me about this site because it's a way of getting to know places from around the world which I had never heard about. I will surely add more about me and my travels in the coming days and hope that you will like reading them as much as I am enjoying this site.

Last year, 2004 I went on a Mediterranean Cruise with friends. We visited Tunis, France (Nice and Eze Village), Barcelona, Rome, Naples and Capri.

The year before it was a Mediterranean Cruise again, but this time I had gone with my husband and two boys. We travelled on the Rhapsody of the MSC Shipping Cruises and visited Tunis, Ibiza, St Tropez, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Rapallo, beautiful beautiful beautiful Portofino, Sta Margherita di Ligurie and Capri.

In 2002, it was Taormina for four days with my husband. Here I'm eating briosche with ice cream..... mmmmm really good. I'm an italian food lover especially the sweets.... croissants freshly baked, dolci di mandorla, cassata siciliana, chocolates filled with limoncello mmm mmm mmm! I can't resist them! While here we also visited Mount Etna, Randazzo and Alcantare Gorges.

Now this was holiday.... in 1998 we went for 3 weeks in USA and one week in Canada. In USA we stayed in New Hampshire, and we went to Cannon Mountain, the White Mountains, Santa's Village, New York, Hampton Beach, Massasuchets (to visit relatives), Plymouth and Rhode Island.

and in Canada we stayed with relatives in Ontario. We went (obviously) to the Niagara Falls - Canada (twice) and we also went to a park. One of the best holidays.. !
