A small section of the unearthed warriors. It is such an enormous feat to have made so many life sized warriors each one individualised.

The Buddhist Monastery at Xi'an

The temple we visited at Xi'an

Another interesting place to visit. Very beautiful, but simple gardens. Intricate jade carvings decorate the shrines. We spoke with a monk from the monastery for about 30 minutes through our Chinese friend. The monk gave us some pictures of Buddha as blessings.

Hi again Athena. Do you recommend going here to see the terracotta warriors? I'm interested, but don't know if I want to devote another trip to China when I'm so desperate to see la bella Italia or go back to Paris.
