Lower Slaughter

After travelling through the very pretty Upper Slaughter, we arrived at the beautiful Lower Slaughter and stayed overnight in this lovely hotel, the Washbourne Court. I had some major problems with my computer last year and lost many photos including the nicest ones of Lower Slaughter. It is a cosy, lovely place to visit. This hotel was terrific too.

The Local Scenery

As I stated, I lost many pictures including ones of the waterway and the beautiful trees that are the local landscape. This is a picture of the Baptist Church.

On the name - there was a strange and sinister murder near here 50 years back, or so. Though not the reason for the name...
