The Burswood Hotel is about the most popular hotel in Perth. I have not stayed there in a long time, but friends who have stayed there fairly recently were very happy with their experiences.

Unique Qualities: This is a 5 star hotel attached to the Burswood Casino. There are many restaurants and bars. My favourite restaurants there are Victoria Station (more upmarket than it sounds) and Windows (top class dining). It also has a venue where there are frequent shows or concerts, so you may be able to see a show while staying at the hotel.

It has all the facilities you can think of including a Day Spa and Health & Fitness Centre. Burswood Hotel has great views of the City, East Perth and the Swan River.

Only 10 minutes from the domestic and international airports and about five minutes from the city, it is well located for tourists.

The complex is on 100 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens and parklands.

I haven't stayed here myself, but have checked Mont Clare out for some other people. I found the staff to be very friendly, the apartments nice and well appointed and the cleanliness of the whole building very good. It is a 4 star hotel, medium sized with 58 rooms. One lady I did the research for wrote to me telling me of how happy they were with the Mont Clare.

The Mont Clare Apartments are very well located, on Hay Street, the main street that runs through Perth City. About 40 metres away, you'll find the CAT stop (a free service for the Central Area), a supermarket, liquor store, hairdresser, pharmacy etc. There are also many restaurants nearby. You can walk to the City Centre if you wish, which would take about 10 minutes.

The apartments are available as 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms.

Check in time is from 2.00pm and check out time is 10.00am.

Mont Clare Boutique Apartments reception desk is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 8.30am to 2.30pm.

If you are due to arrive after hours, please ask for the after hours access procedure when booking.

I didn't stay here myself, but went to the apartments to check them out for a tourist to Perth. I was extremely impressed with staff, the style, cleanliness and situation of the Saville. When I asked at reception to view one of the suites, the girl contacted the manager who personally showed me through.

Saville has 152 one and two bedroom suites. The location is great, only about 7-10 minutes' walk from the city centre and the CBD.

Other local attractions include; Swan River - 5mins walk, Sporting Stadium (WACA) - 5mins walk, His Majesty's Theatre - 20mins walk, The Museum and Art Gallery - about 15mins walk, Airport - 15mins by car (approx. $A25)

Unique Qualities: There is a restaurant within the complex, so you have a choice of self-catering, room service or going to the restaurant.

There is a free CAT (Central Area Transit) bus stop about 40 metres away, along with supermarket, liquor store, chemist, florist, restaurants etc.
