Cottesloe Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Perth.
Just 12km from the city (about 20 minutes' drive), it is also about the most expensive beach to live at.
The beauty of Perth is the fact that the majority of people are within 40 minutes drive of a beach, and most of those are within about 20 minutes.
Perth has about the highest rate of boat ownership in Australia as our lifestyle tends to revolve around the beaches or our beautiful Swan River. The only drawback is the fact that we don't have so many islands offshore from Perth as there are in the eastern states. |
