We visited Krabi from Phuket. The journey was a treat in itself. The limestone karsts (sheer limestone cliffs) of Phang Nga Bay continue on the land only they are more beautiful because they are more lush. They are surrounded by plantations of oil palms or rubber trees. Unfortunately there is not too much natural vegetation remaining, but the other growth still makes for beautiful views.
Unfortunately this is just a shot from a moving car, but we were on a mission to the school and on to Phattalong....next visit we'll stop. |
