Where we Live

Ray & I live at Pottsville Beach in Northern New South Wales in Australia, 30 minutes from the Qld border. We are a short walk to the surf beach and the life style here is very relaxing.
We have 4 children and 5 grandchildren and another one on the way due in April 2011

Surprise 50th 2005

This holiday was to Europe, England & Wales, this photo was taken with friends who live in Bulcote, we went on this trip to surprise my good friend Kate for her 50th birthday and has a wonderful time with them and also with Ray's step family, we spent 7 great weeks away seeing lots of fantastic places, can't wait for our next holiday.

Canada 2007

What a spectacular holiday, we loved every minute of Canada, we stayed with a couple who we met over the internet, what very gracious people they were and we have become firm friends. Marlene & Ken showed us all the sites of Vancouver and all the surrounding areas, we came away with approx 4000 photo's that Marlene had taken, they also took us to Chilliwack Cemetary where Ray's grandfather is buried, what a lovely place to rest in eternally.
If you ever have the chance go to this wonderful place

Butchart Gardens

How fantastic are these gardens, another wonderful place that Marlene & Ken took us, we spent 10 fantastic days with them before going on the Rocky Mountaineer to Banff, we then hired a car and drove back to Vancouver, along the way we stayed at a great B&B in Revelstoke called 7 Acres B&B - Watching the train go into the Spiral tunnell and come out again, what an amazing thing to see, takes a long time from one end of the train to the other to finally emerge from inside the mountain, some 240 carriages in all.

Radiance of the Seas (Royal Caribbean)

What a great trip, The Radiance of the Seas is a terrific ship and the staff were fantastic, especially our dining room waiters, thanks to Marlon & Mariel who were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. If you go on this cruise, the last one of the season is the best if you want some great bargains. 70% off nearly everything in the shops along the way. And on the ship in the last couple of days of the cruise discounts were very good. This cruise also starts in Vancouver but ends in Los Angeles, so it was 14 nights, lots of ports visited and a great time.

New Zealand 2008

Me - New Years Eve on board Rhapsody of the Seas

This was our 2nd cruise, we did the Christmas/New Year cruise, both islands again with the Royal Caribbean cruise line on Rhapsody of the Seas, this ship was not as big as the Radiance but again, we had a great holiday. We really enjoyed New Zealand and plan to go back and do a road trip

wow wonderful beach to be fishing! can you swim in there too or do you risk to become the bait? let me know if you need more help on Venice, I will be glad to try. Take care, Orietta
