Huntington Travel Guide: 25 reviews and 53 photos

Huntington is a small city of 50,000 people located along the Ohio river in the southwestern potion of West Virginia, near the point where the borders of West VIrgina, Ohio, and Kentucky all meet. Huntington is the home of Marshall University, one of the two main universities in West Virginia.

We were just in Huntington for a day, and did not see the central portion of the city. We did, however, did visit its surprisingly good art museum, one of the best small city museums that we have seen. Another sight to see in Huntington is its rose garden, which was in beautiful full bloom when we were there in late May.

I am not sure if we can get out that way, but always wanted to see the back country. You did a nice presentation of the sites and pictures are helpful

I've passed through Huntington many times and always thought I was missing something by not having time to stop. Next time I will.
