Las Vegas is the adult version of Disneyland. If you want vices, you can easily find them there - drinking, gambling, etc. Las Vegas is a surreal city. It rises up out of the desert, where a city should not exist. Its hotels are huge and extravagant. It has some of the best entertainment and restaurants in the USA.
However, believe it or not, Las Vegas also has a lot of fun things for families with small children. Mike had a conference there, and we found plenty of things to entertain Anna while visiting the city. Many of the casinos have attractions that are family friendly. The Mirage has dolphins, as well as lions and tigers. Circus Circus has circus performers. Bellagio has fountains. Mandalay Bay has an aquarium. However, you probably don't want to bring your teeneagers - they can read the billboards for strip clubs, and will be too tempted by the drinking, gambling, etc. |
