"Spring Lake - Gem of the Jersey Shore" Spring Lake by mikelisaanna

Spring Lake is our favorite town on the Jersey Shore. It is the exact opposite of most people's stereotypical version of a Jersey Shore town - there are no arcades, no miniature golf courses, no amusement parks, and very few bars. What Spring Lake does have is a lot of nice old Victorian houses, a number of bed and breakfasts, a nice little lake (hence the town's name) in a park, a cute little downtown, and a lot of trees. It does have a boardwalk (almost mandatory at the Jesey Shore) and a beach, both of which are far less crowded than in most Jersey Shore towns. It is like taking a step back in time, to an era when people weren't in as much of a hurry and videogames hadn't been invented yet.
