We spent a week in Portugal - four days in Lisbon and three days in Central Portugal (Obidos, Alcobaca, Batalha, Fatima). There were plenty of things to see, particularly if you like history, and not enough time in which to see them all. There was also plenty of good food to eat and good wine, beer, and port to drink. Most important of all, the people were friendly.
