Cape Town is South Africa's most beautiful city, and a MUST SEE if you are visiting the country. The city iself has an impressive setting, wedged between the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain, which looms above it.

We spent four days in Cape Town. We didn't get to see as much of the city as we had hoped ,becasue we did some great day trips, which kept taking us away from the city. We went to the Cape of Good Hope, the wine country around Stellenbosch, and went whale watching in Hermanus. There are some great things to see and do within two hours drive of Cape Town, so don't feel like you have to stay within the city while you are there. Rent a car and explore outside of Cape Town while you are staying there - it will be well worth the effort.

    I must be drawn to this fantastic place. The penquins are adorable. Cape Town looks like quite the adventure! Nice page!
