This is the highest peak overlooking Rio! It's topped by the 100+ ft tall statue of Christ with his arms outstreched. This view is probably one of the most breathtaking I have ever seen!!! You can see the whole city of Rio and beyond. I suggest you all to visit this spot atleast once in your lifetime! |

| | These are my wonderful friends that I travelled with in South America! The statue of Jesus (Cor Covado) in the background is what Rio is known for. |
New Year's in Rio! It is tradition to wear all white on New Year's Eve in Rio. This one was definatly an unforgettable one. With a view of over 3 1/2 million people on the beach from the top of the Meridian Hotel (The tallest building on Copacabana beach) The fireworks show was the most amazing I've ever seen all of us agree!!! There are 5 stages set up with Samba playing all night long and everyone dances throughout the night! SOoooo fun:-) | | | Laura, Veronika, Alex and me! |
