Like all tourists to this small village, we came to see the famous castles of 'Mad' King Ludwig II of Bavaria...and we were not disappointed. We had incredible views, albeit through the torrential rains (has anyone else noticed this seemed to be a recurring theme of my trip??).
The town is charming. The buildings are in the old style, and you're likely to be hit by a horse-drawn carriage if you walk aimlessly through the street. I know this is all for the tourists, but still... |
