Blanes is a place sometimes overlooked when travelling to Lloret or Barcelona in the other direction.

Quieter than Lloret, Blanes has a charm all of its own. |

When I was last here there was a fantastic bar called 'The Laurel and Hardy Bar', which played short films by the comedy duo on TV. Also main feature films. Probably long gone now. Blanes is local to Malgrat de Mar (Link) and Lloret (Link) if you would like a look at the meagre amount I have on my pages there.
