East Coast Version of "Midwestern Nice" I had not been to the east coast before, and when I told my husband I was going there for a trip, he warned me that the people who live there interact very differently than we Midwesterner's do. He said to not be offended if people didn't smile or say "hello" or "excuse me" as regularly as we do in Wisconsin, and said to be prepared for the natives to look down on me with my nasally accent and cheesy smile. I'm happy to say he was dead wrong about all of that! Boston was one of the most welcoming and friendly big cities I had ever been to! |
| | What a Beautiful City! Boston is very beautiful to look at and easy to navigate. It is very user-friendly! |
| | Sox Take the World Series Coincidentally, the World Series was being played in Boston when I was visiting. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but it was hard to resist catching Sox Fever when you're around so many enthusiastic fans! |
