If you've seen the movie "Young Guns II" then you're already familiar with the controversy that arose out of Hico, TX. If you haven't, here it is in a nutshell: A local bloke by the name of "Brushy Bill" Roberts claimed he was Billy the Kid and sought to get a pardon from the governor of New Mexico up till the day he died in 1950.
