Texas' Best Kept Secret

1850s log cabin, Clifton, TX
The whole of Bosque County could easily be a historical park! The area became home to Cleng Peerson "The Pioneer of Norse Emigration to America." He and other Norwegian settlers moved here in the early 1800s. Check out my Travel Tips for more details. Be sure to check out my Norse and Cranfills Gap Travel Pages too for additional sites in the area.
