A Thriving Ghost Town

by RowdyTheologian - last update: Aug 5, 2006

The County Seat

Kinney County Courthouse, Brackettville, TX
There's not much going on in Brackettville itself, it's a sleepy little town about 30 miles east of Del Rio. But it's near to several fun sites, check out my pages on Fort Clark Springs and Alamo Village for more information.

Just outside of Brackettville is the old Seminole Scout Cemetery, read more about it in my tips. Many of the old buildings in Brackettville sit in ruins, check out my travelogue for pictures.
