My name is Sarah Hammoud
I live in Lebanon
I am a sociologist
Famous people I have met:
Jacques René Chirac French politician who was twice elected as the country's president.
Rafik Baha ad-Din Hariri (November 1, 1944 – February 14, 2005), a self-made billionaire and business tycoon, was the Prime Minister of Lebanon.
Saadeddine Rafiq al Hariri the majority leader in the Lebanese Parliament and the head of the Current for the Future, a political movement associated with his late father. He is the second son of Rafik Hariri.
Bahia Hariri a Lebanese politician and sister of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Dory Chamoun a Lebanese politician who leads the National Liberal Party, he becomes third candidate for Lebanese presidency.
His head is big and his spirit is small.
Said of someone vain and narrow-minded.
Like the bell on the mule's tail
Said of someone who never stops talking
He carries the ladder sideways.
Said of someone who makes things more complicated than they have to be.
No life to call to
Said of someone apathetic or dense.
You speak to her in the East, she replies in the West.
Said of someone unfocused who's just not there when you talk to them.
Her breath is good for food.
Said of someone who has a gift for cooking, like the French "avoir les pouces verts" for someone good at gardening.
Oum Kolthoum is a famous Egyptian singer
I am in love with this kind of painting and esp. this pic

Hi Sarah, We wish you a very happy birthday. Hope you have a great day. Greetings from Sweden! ~ho & pang
Happy birthday from Los Angeles!
Hi Sarah, I read some of your reviews and they are really awesome!
You seem such an expert on the Cairo nightlife though you are living in Beirut, wish you can help. I'm looking for a hotel in Cairo that is preferably walking distance to some good clubs. As I'm travelling to Cairo alone in Nov (and yep, I'm a female), I don't like the idea of taking a cab back to hotel late at night after clubbing.
Is there any hotel you would recommend that is in the midst of 1 of 2 good clubs/pubs? I was thinking of Ramsis Hilton, Marriott (at Zamalek) or Intercontinetal Semiramis - not sure if you are familiar with these. Thought some of those clubs like After8, El Morrocco, Sangria that you have reviewed on seem very interesting. Care to share your thoughts?
Oh,... and do let me know if it's really crazy for me to think that I can just walk into some club late at night on my own.... :)
Super interesting page Sarah!
happy new year!! wish your dream come true.. smile..Vivek
