| Nir & Yav busy in the kitchen |
| | There, Everywhere! Nir & I got married in 2001 and we both wanted to settle there and then when we met in New York. But, bureaucracy can be limiting. Nir had to go back home to Israel and I followed him. Like that started a very different Middle East experience for me. Very pleasant and very terrifying at times. Well, for good and for bad I suppose.
Nir is the one with long hair in the picture. Oh, and he's a chef. :) |
Beautiful Turkiye... I spent most of my life in Turkiye, although never got a chance to see everything I wanted to. She's big Turkiye & beautiful. I hope to be able spend as much time as possible there in the future. In any case, half of my family is still there! In Turkiye, you both of the worlds. | | | A touch of the countryside, Turkiye! |
|
| | If I can make it there... New York! The Big Apple! Whachama call it, it's fantastic! You can get whatever you want, whenever you want. The city of lights, where life goes on 24/7. (It's also where I met my husband Nir. Musicals, Culinary Culture, The Guggenheim, Metropolitan, West Village & East Village... Home to John Lennon... What more can I say? So, at the age of 19 I was back living in States, this time across the river :) Until I met Nir and that took me to Israel. |
Lots Of Foggy Days & Beer London is a great city to travel. You can never see everything and will be surprised how many parks a city can have! For me, being a sun-lover, traveling there in the summer is a must! Pack your umbrealla for any case though.
We came to London for Nir's Culinary Arts Studies and planned to stay only for 6 months. Instead, we ended up living in London for 2 years. | | |
| The Fishermen's Castle, Budapest |
| | A city from the fairy books... Budapest... It's a dreamy city. Hungarians are great people. History, Arts, Roman Baths, White Horses... Whatever you seek, you shall find...
My obsession with Budapest is related to my grandmother (from the Turkish side of the family) She was a visiting lecturer for 2 years there, and she always wanted to take me one dayto Budapest. Unfortunately her health never allowed it and I could only tell her stories from my Budapest trip. |
