Algonquin Provincial Park Travel Guide: 282 reviews and 388 photos

Algonquin Provincial Park is a favourite place of the residents of southern Ontario. The large park is 7,725 square kilometres in size and contains over 1,600 km of portages and 1,500 lakes. About a 3 to 4 hour drive from Toronto, only a small portion is heavily traveled by visitors.

To truly start to experience the Park you need at least a weekend as far away as possible from the highway corridor.
