The greatest city in the world! There are others that can claim to be more sophisticated, some are more cultural, some even more beautiful and most certainly more efficient. But no city blends it all in the unforgettable package that is Rome.
The following is a listing of special places in Rome and the surroundings that I think are especially worth seeing. I will forego the usual tourist haunts simply because they are much described by others. |
