This was my first time on the Cape for more than just a few hours. I stayed in Orleans, Massachusetts, a beach town which seems to attract families and mature people. It doesn't have that party bar scene that so many beach towns have. I went during the week and it seemed quiet. Since I am not crazy about lying in the sand in the heat and beating off flies, I took the time that my friend was at the beach to drive around the Cape. It truly is beautiful. I would definitely recommend it if you have the time.

Try to avoid driving there on Friday though because the traffic is horrendous.
