Finally made it to the Maldives and it certainly didn't disappoint.
Imagine palm trees, aquamarine sea, hot temperatures. Arrived at Lohifushi Resort Island by speedboat as the island is only 19 miles from Male airport. The island is medium sized by Maldives standards and you can walk round it in a leisurely 30 mins.
The island not only has calm waters with a great house reef but also has a great surfing area and apparently the surf is known around the world.
The locals are really friendly and can't seem to do enough for you. |
