..."It wasn't that long ago a someone threw me a gauntlet and a stack of photos with the most amazing explosion of colours and teased "You got to go there and see the place for yourself!". There it was, a photo of Lake Bled, shrouded in the deep of Autumn and embraced by the first of falling Winter. A curse stirred.

Spring came and went and by the time I stepped foot on the shores of Lake Bled, Summer was fast putting on its thick coat. I had a slice of the location's best dessert and couldn't resist sending a message off for a tease. I was sure, for a fleeting moment, I heard a curse reciprocated"...

This is the only page I will be building on Slovenia. Tips for all other Slovenian destinations will be concentrated onto this page since I based myself in Ljubljana during my stay.
