..."This is a city that caught my imagination from "The Boscombe Valley Mystery", one of Sherlock Holmes's adventures. So, it is of no wonder that I should make a visit to see this place on a cold but crispy Autumn Sunday. The town was almost entirely deserted. Enjoyed a hearty walk through the streets with my mate; gardens of lovely lavenders and roses fragrancing our advance. Would always remembered the city for 2 things. The lovely milkshake I had at one of the cafes which miraculously happened to be open. I had not dressed properly for the unexpected coolness and the train station took much glee to torture me with cold gusty winds"...

How's life Down Under, mate? :-) Just counting down the hours til I fly home from Mauritius...or maybe I could hide in a beachside villa for a few more weeks instead...nobody would notice! ;-) |
