Name of Shop: Elizabeth Street Mall

All Aussie cities has a street marked and devoted to the art of shopping. In Hobart, it's Elizabeth Street Mall, where you can find a concentration of departmental stores, boutiques, bookstores, cafes, shoe-stores and other shops selling you things you might or might not need.

So for folks in Hobart on the weekdays (where you'll miss the weekend Salamanca Market), this is the place to be.

Do note that like all Aussie cities, all shops closed at 5pm on most weekdays except for Thurs and Fri when it is late night shopping.

What To Buy: Everything under the sun I would presume.

What To Pay: Varies from stores to stores, depending on what you're buying.

Me & my mate bumped into Ian at Salamanca Market where he had a stall and was doing a brisk business selling away his postcards & photos.

Photographer to photographer, it was always a joy speaking to a fellow enthuiast.

If you like to stock up on scenic shots, well, look out for Ian, if he is still peddling his fine talents at the market. If not, try to hunt him down at his Gallery in Richmond. (We tried but we could not find his Gallery)

What To Buy: Photos, postcards etc

What To Pay: They're not at all too expensive.
