Love the atmosphere and other Las Vegas, NV Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

We loved the atmosphere at the NYNY but it was a trek to get to our room. Because of the lay out of this mini New York city, the voyage to our room was quite inconvenient and took anywhere up to 20 mins to navigate the twisting hallways.
Spent several evenings at the Nine Fine Irishman pub as it was a freindly excitable pub with great irish music.

Unique Qualities: Has a roller coaster that will cause your heart to stop!

We stayed at the Excalibur hotel for seven night in Sept. 2004. It was a more enjoyable experience than the NYNY. Our hotel room was easily accessed. It was simple and less confusing there are only 2 options Tower one or tower two. The elevators were never over crowded, our hotel room was close to the elevator, Ice and pop machine. The rooms were big, quiet and clean. We loved the laid back atmosphere of the Casino and the friendly Cocktail Waitresses.

Unique Qualities: Nice pool and spa. The food fair was a great addition for the much needed snacks before we hit the wonderful and delicious Round Table Buffet.

Our 10 year anniversary was in October, but as Lara was extremely consumed with accreditation at work (what?s new?) Our anniversary trip took place in November. We stayed at the Luxor Hotel this time, the first couple of nights we stayed in the pyramid until Deb lost her equilibrium. Everything was slanted and on an angle including the inclinators that took us to our room on a 39 degree angle. Because of Deb?s convincing sob story and sickly looking, greenish colored face, we were then upgraded to a mini suite on the penthouse floor . Deb stopped barfing and the fun, games and drinking commenced. It was just in time for us to take the most amazing and mind blowing Helicopter excursion over the Grand Canyon.

Unique Qualities: The rooms are very spacious and clean. The employees at Luxor are very friendly and helpful.
