Name of Shop: Where to go?
Old Arbat Street is an old walking street located off the Arbatsyaka Metro stop, west of the Kremlin. This is a very big tourist destination to bring home goods from Moscow. You will find many things here, from tacky souvenir shops selling postcards and cheap matrioshka dolls, to nicer establishments selling Russian vodka and amber. There are also many street vendors selling tshirts, fur hats and old Soviet and KGB memoribilia in the forms of patches, pins and medals.
Along Old Arbat are many cafes and restaurants as well. We ate at My-My and had a wonderful dinner here. Street performers are scattered along, playing their music, performing their tricks and trying to keep everyone entertained while making a buck for themselves.
This is a good place to buy all those gifts for the poor souls you left back at home.
