Who am I and where do I want to go?

Sometimes I wish I could give up everything just to spend the rest of my life travelling. I spend most of my work days thinking dream vacations and travel experiences that hopefully will come about some day. My boyfriend and I just bought a book called 1,000 places to see before you die, or something like that, and he and I are scouring it daily and discussing all of the future travel experiences we will have together.

How I see it...

In the past year I have been on three trips with my boyfriend and everywhere we go he makes fun of me, because he claims, I never lift my head up from behind the camera lens to appreciate the the scenery. It is through these visits with him that I have come to realize that I do view things through the eye of a camera. I take a lot of pictures when I travel, but not to capitalize on the fact that I have been there, but rather to capture the beauty of a moment or the essence of the place I have travelled. It is so beautiful to see things for the first time- or the second or third time as you grow and your perceptions grow.

You are probably getting bored reading about who I am about now, so I will end things here. I am glad to have found this site and to read about others' travel experiences. I look forward to using this website as a resource to plan any upcoming trips that I may have and hope that I can build my page up enough that people will consider me a resource as well.
