March 2005 my dad came to visit me in China, so we took a little trip to Yanghuo. We spent 5 days here and this town is by far my favorite city/town in China so far. There is all kinds of restaurants/pubs and a lot of tourists, but it is very easy to get away from all that, there is many places to go in Yanghuo or near to relax and do absolutely nothing. |

|  | Hotels in Yanghuo do not have to be booked ahead of time as there are plenty of hotels/hostels around. Mainly all pretty cheap, I recommend you go look around by yourself for which place you want to stay at rather than just going by pictures, it took us 20-30 minutes to walk around all the hotel streets and find the ones we liked. |
I think the scenery in Yanghuo is the nicest mountain scenery I have ever seen. | | |
