"blissful honeymmon" Embudu by S1234

The island itself is full of vegetation and there are no paths, its all sand. The only actual path as such is the walkways to the water bungalows and onto the jettys. So it really is a no shoes experience

During the day we mostly snorkelled in the morning, and sunbathed at low tide in the afternoon and then went out again until sunset time (1800 dead on) then sat on a lounger and enjoyed sunset, if we had any treatmenst in the spa (which we did and they are sooooooooo good) we had that after sunset but before evening meal, if you want these times book as soon as u arrive otherwise u will waste time on a day!!!.

The spa treatmenst are def worth the money, we had a adam and eve serenity where myself and andrew had a full body massage in the same room at the same time it cost $60 but was worth it!! It blissed us out we lept for nearly 13 hrs that night (which is soooooooooo unlike us), we also had various massages throughout the 2 weeks.

The staff on the island are fantastic we enjoyed talking to the waiters/cleaners etc and hearing there tales, in fact 1 day a sweeper (spends all day sweeping up leaves from around the island) told us in v v broken english the tale of a sea serpant who comes out of the sea and wipes out whole islands of people....it was great just listening to him....

The majority of staff that we talked to we either maldivian or sri lankian, both were fasinating to talk to.I am glad that I spent the time talking to them.
