San Juan Islands National Wildlife Refuge and Wilderness Area Travel Guide: 2 reviews and 28 photos
I went here on a boat trip from Vancouver. Some of the islands are Canadian, and some American.
The main purpose of the trip is obviously to see killer whales (aka orcas) and other wildlife. We saw seals, oceanic ducks, eagles.
- Pros:scenery and wildlife
- Cons:very far from Vancouver, but worth it!
