New Orleans This city is unique and beautiful. Too many places in U.S. look alike; this can't be said about New Orleans. |
The city's parts of interest to the tourists are: View Carre (the old town, aka French Quarter), Canal Street and Downtown, riverbank with tour boats and the aquarium, St. Charles Street and Audobon park. Don't leave without visiting one of the live jazz bars. |
UPDATE AS EVERYONE KNOWS, THIS CITY HAS BEEN VIRTUALLY DESTROYED BY HURRICANE IN AUGUST 2005. THIS IS AN UNIMAGINABLE LOSS NOT JUST TO THE RESIDENTS, BUT TO THE WHOLE WORLD. ALL THE BEST TO THE SIRVIVORS OF THIS DISASTER! AND LET'S HOPE THIS CITY WILL RISE AGAIN BETTER THAN EVER! |
