According to the guidebook, Salamanca is the most graceful city in Spain. I have not seen each and every city in Spain of course, but I feel the claim is likely on target. This a very beautiful and welcoming city, full of renaissance mansions and unforgettable churches. Its ancient university is revered in the Spanish world. I would encourage anyone visiting Spain to see Salamanca. |

I lived right on Rua Mayor off the plaza for 6 months in 2004...what a great town! Hope you loved it! |
