Our roots My husband is born in suburbs of Paris, and I do live in since 10 years ago. In fact, I'm born in a little town in 10 minutes from Luxembourg, near Belgium, Germany. For my studies I did go to Nancy with the famous Place Stanislas. With my work I had the possibility to visit all areas of France. But with love, at first for my husband and for Paris, I decided to stay in this fabulous town... When I was young and I visited Paris, the Eiffel tower, ... it was an enchantment... and I couldn't never dream to live here. |
Montmartre My first steps were in Montmartre, where I lived during 3 years. It was magic! A little area where you quickly become a "Montmartrois" in this small village. I know each little steet, stair, place, museum. I had two pleasure: go shopping (rue Lepic) and go to mass evining (Sacré coeur). Montmartre is the second place in Paris where you could see vineyard. |
Champs Elysées After during one year Ilived in the area of Champs Elysées. It's maybe a dream for you, but for me it wasn't it! I think that it is the least intimate district of Paris. The majority of Parisian come here to work, but do not live there. |
Auteuil (16th arr.) Then I moved in a district much quiet: Auteuil, between the Seine and the wood of Boulogne. ofcourse it does not have many monuments there to visit, but the life of district is pleasant, typical. |
And now Now we have just moved in the banlieu in the north of Paris, and each day of my window I can see Paris, better than when I lived there! If you go up to Eiffle tower, make me a small sign! |
