Paris is a city that everyone should visit at least once in there life and it lives up to all expectations. Anyone who has been there would agree that when your first arrive in the city a sense of excitment hits you, well it did for me. I couln't wait to see all of the famous landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Champ Elysees. I must also say Paris did not disappoint. |
| Chateau de Grande Romaine |
I travelled to Paris with my school which for me made the trip extra fun because i got to go with my friends! We stayed 20 minutes outside Paris at Chateau de Grande Romaine (pictured). It was a specially renovated chateau for school groups and where the Brazillian Football Team stayed during the France World Cup! |
We visited many places and attractions during our 5 night stay including Chateau Vaux Le Vicomte (pictured). This chateau was used in filming for the film 'The Man in the Iron Mask' and was also the basis of the more famous Palace of Versailles. Louis XIV even had the creator and designer of Vaux Le Vicomte executed because he was jealous of the extragance and wealth it portrayed. |
