Monterey Bay is located on the Northern Coast of California about 2 hrs.south of San Francisco.The bay is home to the historical Cannery Row made famous by the John Steinbeck novel of the same name. Monterey is a great place to fish, go kayaking, or catch a whale watching boat. There are also shops, restaurants , Fishermans Wharf and a world class Aquarium here. The Bay is a sanctuary to sea lions, otters and birds as well. So don't forget to bring your camera to capture the beautiful shoreline and it's abundant sealife. |
