Laguna Beach is like the Riviera of Southern California. It has some of the most beautiful peaceful private coves & majestic rocky coastline . Laguna is an artist colony and has a very bohemian feeling to it.

I traveled around there in the old days, and got to see the great views and even swam a lot. Your are right about the gates to enter exclusive turf. You did a very good job of showing the scenery and luxury.
Back again - In August I always think of the Art festival. Ciao, Carol <(•¿•)>
Browsed your Laguna pages for tips and found the Coyote Grill. Mid August heading for the Sawdust Festival and may give the grill a taste test.
You have some of the best pictures of Laguna beach I've seen on the 'net. Such a gorgeous place ~ Helen

Beautiful beaches, great-sounding restaurants and interesting shopping - what's not to like?! Good to hear beach access has improved since we were here in the early 90s too :)
Some lovely beaches there, Nancy - and by the sound of it, good restaurants too! I just cannot imagine 'private beaches' ever being allowed.
Glad to hear about the new stricter public access laws that keep the guard gate communities from closing off all the best parts. I hope this isn't one of those areas that have been on fire lately.
My friend Rika's daughter, Marcella and her husband, Chris, have just bought their second house in Laguna Beach! Must be nice!
Hi Nancy, wishing you again Happy Birthday! Congrats too, for topping VT's birthday list for 12 Sept. When are we going back to Alaska? I can hardly wait, Doug
